Vista's usability worse than XP's (and Mac OS X's)

Windows' usability has always been worse than Mac OS X's.

But, with Vista, the gap is increasing.
This independently financed research has shown that Aero is bringing productivity to the lowest level ever in Windows history.
There's also a word for Mac OS X:

"Of course, Mac OS X remains a clear winner in this area"

We can now say that Microsoft might have copied the idea of a beautiful interface but it certainly hasn't copied Mac OS X's high usability!

The article has been slashdotted.

I can't agree with this article you have posted... i used Windows Vista since june '06 and for me it's a clear step in front of Windows Xp and now I can say that it isn't worse than Mac OS X.
An example... Windows Explorer contained in Windows Vista is better than Windows Xp's one and Windows Explorer is definitly better than Finder. This is only an example but it talcks about a foundamental software.

I think that liking or not a UI depends a lot on personal taste.
But Pfeiffer Consulting is talking about Mouse precision, Menu latency, speed in Desktop actions (such as opening folders, etc...), etc... which are not a matter of personal taste: they can be reproduced and measured by anyone.

The report just shows that mouse precision has worsen and menu, submenus and desktop actions are slower on Vista.

Talking about mouse precision I can report that Mac OS X management is worse than Windows one, every people that uses Mac OS X and Windows has this idea.
Menu latency is lower in Windows Xp than Mac OS X and in Windows Vista you can change this value (and it is possible alsa with Windows Xp), navigation speed through the file system is faster in Windows Vista/Xp than Mac OS X using the same icons visualization (because of the painful Finder), so why Windows Xp and Windows Vista are worse than Mac OS X?
